Microsoft: Rust Is the Industry’s ‘Best Chance’ at Safe Systems Programming

Microsoft's modus operandi has been "Embrace, Expand, Exterminate" since time immemorial. Whenever I see them extolling the virtues of something (and especially when I see them contributing to its development) I am immediately suspicious of their motives.

Maybe they like RUST. Maybe they want to destroy it. Time will tell...
